✨ Salon Policies & Booking Guidelines ✨ Welcome! Thank you for choosing to book with MaeNailedIt 💖 We strive to create a professional, comfortable, and relaxing environment where you can unwind, get pampered, and leave feeling your best. Please review the following carefully — by booking an appointment, you agree to all terms below. 📍 Location & General Info We are a home-based nail studio located in Reisterstown, MD. Clients receive two confirmation emails: 1️⃣ The first confirms your booking. 2️⃣ The second (sent closer to your appointment) includes exact location details, parking info, and how to contact me when you arrive — especially for first-time clients. There is one parking spot directly in front of my home. If that spot is taken, please use the visitor parking spaces nearby. If you’re using Lyft or being dropped off, please let me know ahead of time so I can help with timing and avoid delays or awkward waiting between clients. For everyone’s safety, there are security cameras in the studio area. These protect both clients and nail techs to provide transparency, accountability, and security in case of disputes or emergencies. 🗓️ Booking & Confirmation All appointments must be booked and confirmed through GlossGenius. You’ll receive an email confirmation after booking — please confirm your appointment through that link. Appointments not confirmed within 48 hours of the scheduled time will be considered unconfirmed/no-show and may be canceled or given to someone on the waitlist. Waitlist: Don’t see your preferred time? Join the waitlist and include your desired date(s). We’ll reach out when something opens! Waivers & Forms: Please fill out all required liability and service forms before your appointment. This ensures we can start on time and you’re fully informed about salon practices. 💰 Deposits & Payments A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments: $15 for standard nail services $25 for bundle appointments This deposit goes toward your remaining balance. All clients must have a working card on file. This acts as insurance for my business — it’s the only way MNI is compensated for last-minute cancellations or no-shows. Using a fake, locked, or invalid card will result in an automatic ban from future bookings. Remaining balance is due at the end of your service via one of the following: 💵 Cash | 💳 Card | 💸 Cash App | 🍎 Apple Pay | 💰 Tap Pay | 💅🏽 Afterpay | Klarna | Affirm If you don’t have one of these, you may Zelle or PayPal a friend who can send payment through one of the accepted methods. Attempting to leave without payment will result in your card on file being charged in full and a ban from future bookings. GlossGenius automatically processes cancellation fees for appointments canceled: Less than 48 hours before your appointment (for nail services) Less than 72 hours before your appointment (for bundle services) ⏰ Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy You may reschedule or cancel at least 48 hours before your appointment to avoid fees. Appointments canceled within 48 hours will be charged a same-day cancellation fee. Mani/Pedi Bundles or Deluxe Pedicure Packages must be canceled or rescheduled at least 72 hours in advance. Frequent last-minute cancellations may result in loss of booking privileges. 🚗 Late Policy Please arrive on time to receive your full service — especially for bundle services, every minute counts! As a curtesy, sometimes a 10-minute grace period is usually provided, but it’s not guaranteed. Always communicate immediately if you’re running late or have another appointment before mine. If you arrive within 10 minutes, there’s a $5 late fee. At 15+ minutes, your appointment may be canceled and charged as a no-show. 🚫 No Call / No Show Policy Failing to communicate before your appointment will result in a no-show fee equal to 100% of your service total. After two no-shows, you may be required to prepay in full or lose access to booking. 💅🏽 Refunds & Service Adjustments All sales and services are final once you have left the studio. If you’re dissatisfied with your service, it is up to you to express that during your appointment. Please reach out within 24 hours if you have an allergic reaction or broken nail, etc. Adjustments/Nail repairs must be related to the original service received. 🐶 Guests, Children, & Pets To maintain a relaxing and professional environment, no extra guests or children are allowed unless they’re being serviced. There are two small, friendly Shih Tzus in the home — if you have allergies or concerns, please let me know in advance. 🧼 Health, Safety, & Sanitation If you have open cuts, fungal infections, or contagious conditions, please refrain from booking with us until you are healed. If you choose to book anyways, deposits are non refundable. MaeNailedIt follows strict cleaning and disinfection protocols between every client. If we determine a service cannot be safely performed, we reserve the right to decline or reschedule your appointment. You may need to schedule a medical appointment. Deposits are non refundable. 💕 During Your Appointment This is your time to relax! You’re welcome to bring snacks, food, your laptop, or anything to keep you comfortable. Snacks, water, energy drinks, etc are available for clients. MaeNailedIt is 4/20 friendly — please be respectful and discreet if you choose to partake before or during your appointment. 📸 Photo & Social Media Policy We love showcasing our work! By booking, you agree that photos or videos of your nails may be used for social media or promotional purposes. ✍🏽 Acknowledgment By booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all policies listed above.
